City Of Magelang  The city of Magelang is situated between 7° South and 10° East, and is strategically located by the main road connecting Semarang -Yogyakarta-Wonosobo. It is approximately 65 KM from Semarang and 42 Km from Yogyakarta. According to local believe the Tidar hill (500 meter) is the nail that embed the Java island to earth. This is because Tidar hill is in the center of the island. The river Progo and Elo circles city of Magelang to the east and west. City of Magelang is surrounded by several mountains: mount Sindoro, mount Sumbing, mount Perahu, mount Telomoyo, mount Merbabu, mount Merapi, mount Andong and the Menoreh mountain range.
